Tea Counter

Tea counter made of elm.  Black lacquer with painted floral motif including birds, lotus, pomegranates, butterflies, and poppies.  Interior shelves with built in drawers.  Likely used in a tea house for serving tea.  C. mid-19th century (Qing dynasty).  H:48”, W:52”, D:16.5”.
